Microsoft Outlook Calendar Import
Importing Timesheets from Microsoft Outlook Calendar Events
Teamdeck makes it easy to track your time by importing events directly from your Microsoft Outlook Calendar into timesheets. This feature helps you automatically record time spent on meetings and other calendar events, streamlining your time management process.
How It Works
The import functionality automatically matches Teamdeck projects with Outlook Calendar events if the project name phrase appears in the event title or description.
To further customize your time entries, you can use tags. Simply include tags in the description of your Outlook Calendar event (e.g., #meeting
) to automatically apply them during the import. Tags must be set up in your organization’s Settings > Advanced > Timesheets settings. Learn more about tags here.
The calendar event description is also imported as the description for the time entry, providing additional context for your timesheets.
